Wow! This story was an intense read that that I enjoyed reading very much. Fractured Lies is the debut novel of author Abigail Davies and it was very well written with a lot of emotion and heart written within it. There were some sensitive topics that were addressed within the book. However, the author written the topic in a sensitive way that added to the story. The book flowed well together that created a range of emotions for me. There were parts in the book that was heartbreaking and other parts that were heart warming.
I loved all the characters and especially little Eli with his cute ways. Kay is a fun character that faces much heartache throughout her life. Throughout the story you see the strength that grows within Kay and I felt for her throughout the story. At the start of a book Ty is a man of mystery and as the story develops more of Ty’s personality is revealed. He is caring and protective of the ones that he cares about. The connection between the characters is apparent from the start and develops throughout the book.
However, despite thinking you know what is going on, the cliff-hanger will surprise you. Abigail Davis has done a good job with her debut novel and I cannot wait to read more from this author.
