COVER DESIGN: THE FINAL WRAP
M. Robinson has outdone herself with the beautifully written book El Diablo. The story was full of so much pain and angst, that was written in a way that the reader could feel the pain that the characters were feeling during all the hurt and loss that they were experiencing.
Alejandro known as El Diablo/ The Devil was a complicated character that had me yelling at many times, however, at the same time I loved the character. He has experienced so much pain and loss in his life that saw him transform into a cold man that did not give anyone the chance to get close to him. Alejandro was born into the cartel and was exposed to violence and bloodshed at an early age. All of this impacting him to become the El Diablo everyone knows him as. However, there was so much more to him then just being El Diablo, he was a man that had experienced so much hurt from a young age and did all that he could to avoid any more agony.Lexi was such a strong and beautiful character that was able to see that there was more to Alejandro then just being El Diablo. There was so many times in the story that my heart broke for her and I was tearing up many times at the pain that she had experienced from such a young age. Despite all this she was such a strong and feisty character that had a strong passion for Ballet.
I loved the relationship between Lexi and Alejandro, despite the angst and turmoil that the relationship experience, it was evident that they were meant for each other. The chemistry between them was intense and there was plenty of steamy moments. The story was set in three parts and there was time jumps between these parts. However, the time jumps didn’t ruin any part of the story and only added to the story. El Diablo is a book that will leave you with a book hangover and will stay with you for a long time. This is another great read by M. Robinson with her flawless writing and I definitely recommend any fans of angst reads to one click this book

“I’m fine,” she stubbornly replied. Shaking her legs and arms out. Getting back into position, looking at me through the mirror.
I cocked my head to the side, arching an eyebrow. She narrowed her eyes at me, but begrudgingly listened. I pressed play, allowing the melody to once again take over. She placed her leg on the lowest barre, making her ass stick out in my direction.
She closed her eyes, needing to get lost in the music, wanting to push away all the negative thoughts, already feeling discouraged. I stood, taking off my suit jacket. Rolling up the sleeves of my collared shirt as I stepped onto the hardwood floor. I slowly came up behind her, catching her off guard.
She froze, turning around, opening her eyes. Peering up at me through her lashes. “What are you doing?”
I leaned forward against her ear, grinning. “I’m helping you stretch.” Getting down on my knees in front of her.
Her eyes dilated. The feeling of disappointment replaced with nothing but lust. She placed her arms out to the side, resting up against the barre, supporting her weight. I grabbed her ankle, lifting it up in the air, rubbing along her leg as it was fully stretched, before setting it on the lowest barre. Running my other hand up her side, easing her over toward the extended leg. She understood what I was doing, reaching for her ankle, stretching. Standing back up, bringing her arms above her head, I caressed along her leg again, casually turning her torso so her leg was still placed on the barre behind her.
Her breathing hitched as I touched her all over her lower body. My lips softly kissing the inside of her thigh to where she wanted my mouth the most.
