Our lives are a collection of moments. Some utterly painful and full of yesterday’s hurts. Some beautifully hopeful and full of tomorrow’s promises.
I’ve had many moments in my lifetime, moments that changed me, challenged me. Moments that scared me and engulfed me. However, the biggest ones—the most heartbreaking and breathtaking ones—all included him.
I was ten years old when I lost my voice. A piece of me was stolen away, and the only person who could truly hear my silence was Brooks Griffin. He was the light during my dark days, the promise of tomorrow, until tragedy found him. Tragedy that eventually drowned him in a sea of memories.
This is the story of a boy and girl who loved each other, but didn’t love themselves. A story of life and death. Of love and broken promises.

This author has a way of dragging your heart in to the story’s she writes and never letting you escape….. hours…… even days after you finish. I was in awe of this story. Right from the start you know it’s going to be one of those books that leaves a stamp on your heart that will stay with you til the end of time.
Right from the start I was hooked on Maggie and Brooks. They were amazing. Even with everything they go thru, their love…. you can feel how all consuming it is, and it was beautiful. Getting to see them at a young age and morphing into the people they become had a huge impact on this story and how I felt about them.
The plot was what you would expect from this author. If you have read any other book by this author then you know what your in for….. If you haven’t, then buckle up and get ready for a journey that will make you feel every emotion known to man.
There are words that I could group to gether to make this review but nothing will do it justice, it’s raw, it’s refined, epic, passionate, inspiring, sensational, mesmerizing, and so much more. Don’t miss out on this book! 5 Stars #2OCCJD
