I’ve silently watched her for a year, staying hidden in the shadows, biding my time.
She may know me as two different men, but hasn’t a clue what I’ve done.
She unknowingly became mine the minute my eyes touched her beauty.
But I’ve done things. Things she may not be able to forgive.
I know all her secrets, her habits, her preferred coffee, what she does in her spare time, her favorite lingerie brand, even that she sleeps naked.
At night, I watch her from her window. During the day, I watch her from my computer. She innocently bares her heart and body to me, and I soak up every single fucking second.
I’ve stayed away, but I’m tired of watching from afar. It’s time Poppy finds out just who I am and what I’m willing to do to take what’s mine. She may hate me when she finds out my what I’ve done, but she has no choice but to accept it. She will be my wife. She will mother my children. I will claim every part of her heart, body, and soul. Anything else is unacceptable.
I’m going to start off by saying this book won’t be for everyone. I personally don’t have a hard limit when it comes to reading but I feel that some people might mistake this book for something different then it is. I loved it. I loved Asher’s obsession of poppy, and while it was messed up, it was beautiful at the same time.
I was shocked at the “Big Bang Moment”. This author does an amazing job at having you continue to guess up until the very end.
Asher and poppy work well together, they both have their flaws, but at the same time. They are both what each other needs. Yes, Asher staked her, when she finds out, she blows up, that’s bound to happen, but in the end they get their happy ending.
Not knowing who to trust can really screw your life up, and poppy and Asher found that out. I really enjoyed the plot with the obsession aspect of it it was different than something I’ve read before so I just pulled in from the start all the way to the end.
Overall this was an amazing book that brooches the subject not really looked at in a good light because 99% of the time it isn’t a good thing but this author was able to make it into something beautiful in the end. 5 stars for Asher’s messed up mind, and Poppys understanding heart. #2OCCJD
