He’s the lost Dragusha brother, heir to a vast mafia empire—brilliant, violent, and utterly savage…and he’s been missing for years.
I’m supposed to be doing simple undercover research at the Fancher Institute for the Mentally Ill & Dangerous, but I can’t keep my mind off Patient 34. He’s startlingly young and gorgeous, but it’s not just that. He’s strapped way too tightly to that bed. And there’s no name or criminal history on his chart. What are these people hiding? My reporter’s instincts are screaming.
Here’s the other thing: the staffers here believe he’s so sedated that there’s not a thought in his head, but I catch him watching me when nobody’s looking. Our connection sizzles when I enter the room. When our eyes meet, I know he understands me in a way nobody else ever has.
I’m supposed to follow my editor’s orders—I have secrets, too—but everything about Patient 34 is suspicious. How can I not investigate?
*A Standalone HEA*
Savage Mafia Prince was an incredible read and if it was possible to give more then 5 stars I would. This was an emotional and angst read that had many moments throughout that I absolutely loved. Annika Martin has done a truly amazing job with this book and has written a riveting read.
Kiro is the very definition of a sexy alpha that I absolutely loved reading about. There was so much about him that you have to read the whole book to gain a true understanding of who he is as a person. He had experienced nothing but rejection and pain throughout his life, which made my heart break for him so many times. But, he still manages to keep going despite all his hardships he has endured throughout his life.
The main female character Ann is trying to get her life back in order after losing her reputation as a top journalist. Ann is a very determine and motivated character that has a lot of passion for what she does. I enjoyed seeing the growth that Ann goes trough within the book and when she realizes the feelings that she shares for Kiro.
Savage Mafia Prince is about Ann going undercover in a criminally insane asylum and meeting a mysterious patient, known as patient 34. The mysteriousness that surrounds patient 34 draws Ann in and has her wanting to discover his story. At the same time the Dragusha brothers are searching for their baby brother Kiro who has been missing for years.
Overall, I absolutely loved this story because it isn’t like any story I’ve read before. There is so much emotion and so much detail in this book that I absolutely loved about it. I absolutely loved the relationship between Kiro and Ann and their chemistry was of the charts. I absolutely love the storyline of the savage Adonis and I honestly loved everything about this story.
