When starting this book I was really sad because I knew it was ending an amazing series. Through out the whole series we have because part of this family, we have bonded with all the characters and loved through everything they have been through. The silver lining is being able to reread them anytime I want to. This book did not let me down! It lived up to my hopes, it gutted me more then once, but the way the author did it, she slowly put us as readers back together.
Oh Frisco, my heart ached for him right from the prologue. Then it went from an ache, to shattered to slowly put back together. There are times in this book we get to feel him, feel his pain, his hope and his happy. With his Final Ride, he shows that no matter where he is, or what he does, he is a man that is to be respected. I loved him so hard!!!
Oh sweet Amy. She was sweet and had a heart of gold but she understood the MC lifestyle and I loved that about her. In flashbacks we feel her pain, and in the present we watch as she grows slowly to become a strong touch women and leave the broken Amy behind.
There was one part, half way through that broke me. I had to stop reading because of the tears rolling down my face, I couldn’t see the words. It was heart breaking, it was horrible, yet at the same time the outcome was so beautiful it hurt!
The is a look into Frisco and Amy and how they live their life after every thing that has happened and is still to come. How Frisco and Amy’s relationship builds, how it’s a huge struggle, how his relationship with his daughter goes, to all the other members of the MC. It was an epic final book that left me full, left me feeling complete, and overall left me with a smile on my face. We get a Final Ride that cuts you open, but is a beautiful thing to see. 6 epic stars, because 5 just isn’t enough! #2OCCJD
