This book started really well, by about 70% it got a little repetitive with how annoying and glum Kate was.i understood that she’s going through a rough time, I understand that she’s built these walls up so high around her, I would have liked to have seen her really embrace life and be exactly who SHE wants to be though.
That being said, if I forgot about how glum Kate was, I enjoyed this book.
The writing was really good, I was surprised that this was Ashley Claudy’s first novel as she has all the elements of a great writer already.
I loved Lexi, she was my favourite. Outspoken, funny and loyal. I thought everyone else were spoilt rich kids who partied 24/7.
I’m giving this book 4 stars because, although I personally didn’t like the main character, the writing was great, the character developments were good and the storyline was actually really different.
