New Release and Review- Always You by Belle Brooks

Title: Always You
Author: Belle Brooks
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: February 2, 2017

“I will breathe for you.” Some people’s bodies are built to run marathons. Others to lift and labour. And some are made so graceful their footsteps are barely heard.

My body was built to be a vessel. It was Always You.

Maybelline Connors knows stars are not always as faultless as they appear. She knows life is not permanently concreted into its foundations and love can last a lifetime…even when a lifetime is shorter than one hoped.

Willard Connors knows that life will rob you. That dreams are just that—dreams. And no matter how hard one prays, a star riddled with faults will always be riddled with faults.

What Will is yet to learn, is that he is stronger and braver than he ever imagined he could be. And that gifts from the heart leave a lasting imprint—an imprint unable to be erased.

With life there is love… with love there will always life.

Jessica’s Review

I went into this book totally blind. No title, no cover, no author name, no blurb, just jumped right in with two feet. That’s the first time I’ve ever done that. I’m really pick with at least knowing the cover but I love the idea of just going in.

May, I’m not sure how to talk about her without giving too much away at times she seemed very placated and just I don’t know, shy, but still sweet. Above all she was strong, so strong, I really loved the determination and love that this character possessed.

Will was too cute! I love sweet heros. To go into detail with him it may give too much away, but he was perfect, he loved his wife so much, and having to see him in pain made me cry.

I absolutely loved all the secondary characters. This book showed a family unit at its finest.

This book deals with tough subject matter, it’s hard to write this review with out giving too much away, but poor May, her life is thrown upside down, and we watch her, her friends and family deal with it it. This book is powerful, yet at the same time beautiful.

Fade to black sex scenes aren’t always my favorite. I like seeing the passion, but this book, I didn’t need to see those times, the story was able to hold up on its own with out it. This story was about so much more then a sexual connection.

I really enjoyed the fact that Will and May were married, we don’t see to many romance novels with already married characters, but this one was pretty awesome in that aspect.

Overall, this is a very emotionally charged book. I want to scream from the rooftops and vent about everything this book represents but I can’t because then I will spoil. If there is one book that people should go in totally blind, this is the book! Filled with raw emotions. This book is going to be one of my top reads of 2017, I dare you to read it and not cry. 5 stars #2OCCJD

Their story will be forever ingrained in my heart.” – Bloggers From Down Under
