He Loves Me…KNOT by RC Boldt is NOW AVAILABLE!
Sometimes love needs a second chance…
I never looked back after skipping out on my own wedding, even if it did leave me estranged from most of my family. Eight years later, I have the life I’ve always wanted. As an advertising account executive, my world is damn near perfect.
Until I come face-to-face with my past. With the man I once loved. The man who holds my future in his hands. The man who’s hell-bent on getting even with me for leaving him at the altar.
Even with all the unfinished business between us, I still love Knox Montgomery. The only problem?
He loves me…KNOT.
I love second chance romances and was not disappointed by He Loves Me … Knot by R.C. Boldt. This was an outstanding book with perfect flow and a grab-your-heart ending.
From the first page, Ms. Boldt grabs you with her excellent writing and brilliant storyline. Actually, it starts on the page before the first page but you’ll have to read the book to find out about that.
Emma Jane, while a true southern debutante, had a wild side. She found herself unsure of the future on her wedding day and became a runaway bride. Moving forward with her life, she lands in Jacksonville, Florida with an NFL quarterback as a BFF and a career that she is killing.
Knox Montgomery, the jilted groom, is a true southern gentleman and has had a world of heartache from Emma Jane’s disappearance. Now he’s back in her life in Jacksonville – as her BOSS!
My goodness gracious (a little southern talk there) the emotions that are played out by each of them, both separately and together, is heart wrenching. You are torn whether to root for them or have them duke it out! There were times I was hoping that they would have a complete throw down and get it all out in the open.
With every page turn you become more engaged in their story. With flashbacks woven into the storyline, Ms. Boldt has given us a story that is full of heart, sexiness, and some real southern sass.
