She whispers my name at night, filling my dreams with her haunting beauty.

Her tormented amber eyes beg me for something I don’t understand, and her agonizing pain becomes my own.

For years, she’s come to me, calling my name.

For years, I’ve never known who she was.

Until now….

Jessica’s Review

The description of this book give nothing away. What is packed in this book is a story that is captivating and complex, but at the same time it was beautiful and elusive. It took me a while to get the full picture of what was going on and my jaw was open more then half of the story. Luca and Jules have this connection that at first is hard to understand, but as the story goes on and the pieces fall into place, I was able to understand. I lobe how unique the author was when it came to to the plot, the twists, the deception and the past. I don’t even know how y’all about it without spoiling it. I was sad when it was over because it captivated me. I read it in one sitting because it was that intense. It’s One of those books that if you have to stop reading it for any length of time you will not be able to stop thinking about it.

I do feel like some things were as clear cut as I wish their were when it came to things that happened. I’ve sat here for an hour trying to put some things together and I can’t find answers in the page of the story. So I will have to say that some things are left open ended and have me wondering. But other the. That, the story was totally amazing. I was sad when it ended because I was very invested in these characters lives. 4.25 stars #2OCCJD
