This was a really good book. I loved the first book in this series and loved seeing Finn get his HEA. Charlie was a great character because she was really easy to relate to. She had her own issues she was dealing with and the fact that she didn’t ask for help made her that much more strong. I loved seeing the relationship progress and see them working hard for the second chance that they deserved. I feel like some aspects of her ex were really left out and never really touched on so it has me left someone answered questions.
The overall plot was interesting and kept me reading. I didn’t want to put it down when I had to do things. That’s a sign of a good book to me. The author kept the suspense front and center but it didn’t over shadow the romance and I loved that. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen in the next book. 4 stars #2OCCJD
