I see him on the
street, encounter him at the pier. He’s there when my family is murdered, and I
must decide: is this man someone I can trust, a killer—or both? Falling for him
is easy because I have nothing more to lose. But she does, so I take her and
run to England with him.
He is dangerous,
and I am captivated.
Power . . . he is
power. I want to breathe it in. I need to feel it inside me.
His stately country
house is my refuge, but it’s his sensual and commanding presence that becomes
my home and strengthens me. A rising dark threat closes in, and we vow to defy
the course of fatal events before us. We promise to live. The obsession—this
intense love story of ours—is the one thing we can’t survive.

Gemma’s Review
4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lies that bind us was a really interesting story that had some really great moment throughout the story. This story was a suspenseful read that had a lot of drama and action throughout the story. This made for an exciting read that really had me on the edge of my seat.

Ellie was a strong heroine that encounters a lot of family secrets within the story. She did not let anyone tell her what to do and she stood up for herself. she was a feisty character that cared about her loved ones.

Will was a bit of a mystery and i have a few question about this character. I liked the way that he cared about his family and about Ellie. I loved the way he was Ellie’s protector and did whatever he could to protect her.

Lies that bind us had a storyline that I have not read before creating a really captivating read that had me unable to put the book down. There was a lot of questions that I was left with at the end of the story and I cannot wait to read what happens next.
